June Newsletter
Dear Wildflower Art Families,
Can you believe it is already July? Looking back at last month, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. I want to take a moment to say a massive THANK YOU to all of our incredible families. It is an absolute privilege to work with your children every week. This past month was especially unique, as this was our youngest class to date! I am so incredibly proud of their immense talent, focus, and patience as they learned brand-new skills. Their bright spirits make our studio such a happy place to be!
We started off our "June Bug Gymboree" month incredibly strong by drawing ladybugs and painting them with vibrant watercolors. They turned out absolutely amazing!
For the second week, the children sculpted beautiful air-dry clay insects. They carefully decorated them with a unique bean mosaic and sealed them to make the perfect, heartfelt Father's Day gifts.
By the third week of June, we explored canvas painting! The children used acrylic paints on canvas to create their own stunning, bright butterfly paintings.
Then, to wrap up the month, we made some fun, functional crafts! We built cozy bee hotels so our buzzing local friends have a safe place to sleep. We also crafted playful fireflies that actually light up for a truly magical experience once it gets dark! Every single piece brought home this past month has been a true masterpiece.
I can't wait for our next session in July, which will be all about beach-themed art and crafts! Get ready to dive into sand, sea, and sunshine as we create coastal masterpieces with my little artist friends!
Thank you for sharing your amazing children with us and for being the best community an art studio could ask for!
With love and gratitude,
Taleeya Parker
